Like, they, they pulled out all the stops and put on a fantastic event by the look of things.
13:16
Yeah, they did really, fair play to the lads.
13:17
Like, really lovely way they had it set up.
13:20
Uh, it was powered fair amount service, a trailer park, and finish ramp and all, all together, and just the HQ, eh, just literally right over the road.
13:27
So really, really well laid out that way.
13:29
Yeah, a bit of a run out to the stages where I think it was 23, 24K out and back just from the stages, but when you get out there, the stages are nice and close together, so you don't mind it then.
13:37
Like, you know, when, when, when you get there, it's a nice tight loop.

10 MINS LATER

KevinHOST
23:31
And I suppose then as we, as we start to wrap things up then, like, starting out back in February, March time in Sligo, was the, the thought going for the, like, the Forestry Championship, or was it just getting back in, getting back into the groove and the lusakie?
KevinHOST
20:00
What a one.
20:02
Yeah, been a turn up for the books, honestly.
20:07
Yeah, I suppose it's one of those rallies, you know, where a lot of people would have a lot of local knowledge, a lot of same stage one year after year and that kind of stuff.
20:19
And so we really weren't expecting to have a big result.
20:23
We were kind of expecting it to go similar to Lakelands, you know, in the sense of struggling really to keep up with the lads.
20:32
And then obviously then Josh had his first barn child on Thursday before the event.
20:40
So we kind of knew all along that was going to be a bit of a distraction.

15 MINS LATER

KevinHOST
35:28
Can they rake in the Carlsberg Dunn rallies? The stages you have to look forward to now this weekend are going to be something else?
KevinHOST
32:40
I think most of the rest of them went through the reserves and a few others as well too, yeah.
32:45
Yeah, a lot of national rounds are getting through reserves very, very quickly.
32:48
So it definitely seems to be a bit of the heat taken out of things.
32:51
Maybe it's something to do with the economy or whatever, and maybe things are slacking a little bit and construction, that kind of stuff.
32:58
So it's kind of hard to know what to do.
33:00
But as you said, for Wexlers, all we've tried to do is put on the best rally we can.
33:05
As it happens, I did the first day of recce yesterday.
KevinHOST
34:52
Like, where else in the country are you going to get it? And at not a crazy price either.
KevinHOST
52:24
[laughs]
52:25
... uh, what stage was stage.
52:27
So yeah, that's been...
52:28
And even to be honest with you, I said, like, Josh big on his notes.
52:31
He's big on, um, detailing his notes, you know, and having them fine-tuned.
52:34
So every rally we do, we always go back and start with a blank page.
52:37
So even like, you know, people say probably some stages are like no, uh, even Miles Gap, um, every time he would start at a fresh, fresh set of notes, knock out all those.
KevinHOST
53:56
So there was a lot packed into those six stages both days.
