No, we got beaten overtime that year.

Who'd y'all play? We played Farmersville in overtime.

Wow.

And, you know, that's one of those games that when we got off the bus, it was 24 degrees, and the wind was blowing about 45 miles an hour.

When we warmed up, we punted one out of the end zone, and it blew it back over our own head.

Twice during the game, we had people open, threw them the ball, and the ball ended up in the bleachers.

I would have to say he's the best one I've, I've ever, I've ever seen.

Steven played, played quarterback for us, and then after he got out, he went and played for TCU for, for four years, and started outside linebacker for them and then signed with the Dallas Cowboys.

And he actually got hurt his senior year.

We went 12 and 2 the, my first year there, and lost in the quarterfinals to Gilmer, and they went on and won the state championship.

But we got, we got really crippled up the week before when we played Wilmer-Hutchins.

So where did golf really all start for you? Is it something that you played from young or is it something you've drifted into? A bit of

both, really, because I played as a kid back in the kind of late 90s, early 2000s, when we'd probably get like six or seven of us in like a Vauxhall Corsa.

You'd chuck all the clubs and you'd get two in the footwell and you could go and play 9-0 somewhere.

So we kind of used to do that as we were kids.

And then where I grew up, they opened an 18-hole golf course and a few of the lads joined when we were probably 12 or 13.

I didn't.

probably played it two, three times, you know, over the high school period.

How does that usually go down? Is there a horror story or have you managed to get away with it so far?
