What's special about adding those kinds of elements to a record and kind of making it that next step up.
9:14
Well, I think, like you said, you know, Thriller, Vincent Price.
9:17
I wouldn't say that Michael Jackson is a huge influence on the band.
9:19
But, you know, those things have existed.
9:22
The dramatic stuff hasn't existed forever.
9:25
And I think that we're the type of band that we love theatricality.
9:31
But it's different.

How'd you get set up with those two and brought those in? Did you say, hey, I got a song that I want to write for Lilith, or did you write one and go, she'd probably be good on this, and Machine Head kind of the same way, or how'd that hookup go?
12:33
How realistic is it that this could be a huge break in the case?
12:38
Well, you never know where you're gonna get the best break in a case.
12:41
You have to follow this lead because they have determined that it resembles and may be the same type of glove that the offender used at the Guthrie residence.
12:50
So you have to temper your expectations.
12:52
That glove has been outdoors, so that tends to degrade the quality of the DNA sample, but doesn't exclude it from being properly profiled.
13:01
So that, any DNA gathered from that glove or from inside the house will be sent to the lab.
13:07
A DNA profile will be generated, and it'll be put into the CODIS system.
14:10
Mm-hmm.
22:50
So how much does that sort of complicate this whole investigation?
22:54
Well, it creates a sense of urgency, right, for the community, too.
22:57
This case is being played out publicly.
22:59
Typically, kidnapping cases, any ones I've been involved in, were all low, under the radar.
23:04
The FBI always brings vast resources, regardless of who the victim is.
23:08
In this case, this was all negotiated through the, uh, media and public, so there's a lot of scrutiny because of that, and we have a famous individual, uh, a- associated with this case.
23:19
So this does add complexities.
24:11
So could this flood of tips actually hamper efforts to find helpful leads?

A lot of bands out there, I think a lot of Five Finger Death Punch's success early on came from They have these really big production music videos and kind of talk about your approach to this music video, which looks amazing.
5:31
Thank you.
5:31
Yeah.
5:31
I mean, I think it's funny that you mentioned that because I think that there's kind of two, I'm of two minds about it.
5:36
One is, um, and this is kind of, I guess, a separate soapbox, but when it came to the videos moving forward with this record from obviously bleeders is a, is a large scale Jensen Owen, big ass production.
5:53
But it was, it was very practical in terms of set building.
5:56
Like the set that I'm in killing those people is a real place that existed, you know, and a lot of Jensen's videos are very heavily CG, which is awesome.

exactly and and i couldn't agree more and i do think that that kind of lends itself to the people these artists that come in they get pushed so heavily and all of that at the aren't really feeling it they're not going to feel it and even with y'all having dealt with haters over the years i think much less so now but like your fans always rode for you guys so strong the bbb army uh very loyal fan base i even notice when you know i post about y'all they go insane and um and what do you attribute the the strong relationship that you've had with your with your fans over the years too
