And I just wondered, like, was that what you were going for, or what was your finish line? What did it look like typically?

It's a great question.

I think when it comes to any piece of creative wor- creative work, whether we're talking about a novelist writing a, a story, or a lyricist, or just a songwriter, or a producer, or a painter, anyone who's making anything creative, the thing is never done.

You just have to finish it because of a deadline.

So when it came to writing this first album, none of us really knew what we were doing.
