It's really about knowing your tools inside out because because there isn't much money and you're going to be working in not pristine circumstances, you need to be able to do guerrilla recording, show up anywhere with a laptop and a couple of microphones and get something cool and listen to what you're getting to understand what the possibilities are and make it work instead of always be thinking, well, if I had a couple of Neves and I was in a better room, this album would be amazing.
0:40
Well, there's a way to make it amazing no matter where you are.
0:43
And that's always been the case, but it's even more the case now.
55:05
Mm-hmm.
55:05
You and Claude can write a juice plug-in fine.
55:08
There's stuff you're gonna have to figure out, but you can do it.
55:11
But you need an idea, and the idea doesn't have to be like, "Oh, there's a new way of processing audio that no one's ever thought of." It's the idea of, "I'm sitting down, I'm working on something.
55:26
What do I wish was there that I could reach for?" And it's like the channel strip.
55:31
There are a million channel strips, but it was about the flexibility and the packaging and not trying to make it be a thing and, you know.
55:39
It's rethinking an idea someone else has had or just putting the pieces together.

I have yet to try the plugin thing, and I'm just kinda curious, plugins or not, like, what's been your experience with using these AIs for, for things like this, these tools?
