So can you tell us a little about yourself and how you got started as an author?

Yeah.

Well, so I started way back.

Actually, I went to film school.

So my sort of move into fiction and prose writing kind of came about later.

So I went to film school with the full intention of becoming a filmmaker and screenwriter.

And it's still something I do and I love to do.

Did you learn anything about yourself when you were writing this or anything about these characters that really like shocked you that you were like, wow, I didn't expect their personality to take that turn or something in you that you were like, oh, I actually feel like I need to take a second.
