Oh, I just was going to step into maybe a like stereotypical pastor response to that.

But it's like if we're interested in following the way of Jesus and if we're interested in being obedient to the Bible, then just point blank.

I mean, the fact that Sabbath thing is in the Ten Commandments should be enough on top of that, knowing that Jesus engaged in the Sabbath.

And yes, he does this reframe because there's all these over-the-top legalistic rules that if you don't Sabbath in exactly the right way, then God won't come back and redeem all of Israel is what he's pushing back.

But I can't remember who it was who said this, who said, when Jesus speaks and rebukes the Pharisees and says, God did not make man for the Sabbath, but Sabbath for man.

What the Pharisees needed in that moment was to hear, look, I didn't make you for the Sabbath.

And then lean on the words and the faith of others for a season as you need it.
