How did you get attached to The Breakfast Club?

Well, now that you know, I didn't know anything about the film business when I started.

I was reading scripts, and I read a script called National Anthem's Vacation by John Hughes.

He had just been signed by an agency called CAA.

He was living in Chicago.

Nobody knew anything about him.

And I said to the agent, this is a really funny script.

What do you think make that film continue to connect with audiences across generations?
