Basic question here: Why has it taken the Knicks 27 years to get back to the finals?

finals?Well, uh, I wrote a piece all about this, and it basically comes down to their owner, uh, James Dolan, who has been, uh, the best worst fan a, a team like the Knicks could have in the sense that he is very enthusiastic about, uh, basketball.

Like, he likes, uh, being around gifted basketball players and, and keen basketball minds.

Uh, but he winds up sort of falling in love with, uh, with players in situations that aren't necessarily in the best interest in the team, and on top of that, throwing a lot of money at, at these player and team situations that hamstring the team's progress going forward in the future.

So there was a good 10, 15 years there where, you know, they were tied up paying players who were, you, you know, ginormous sums of money who are no longer with the team.

A- and after having maxed out, uh, both their, their, um, their salary, uh, capital and their draft capital to, uh, make these arrangements.

So, you know, it sort of put the Knicks into this bind of being, like, a very mediocre team for an incredibly long time.

Now, if you're not, if you're not i- in that bubble, in that conservative bubble, what that refers to is he got the Burisma deal, you know, $1 million a year no show, all the other boards that he sat on, you know, but Zero, Zero Experience Hunter, that's Sean Hannity's thing, you know? He just keeps saying it over and over again.

Um, and then he uses this as, as an example of the FBI being out of control, the DOJ targeting conservatives and not going after Democrats, how there's no such thing as, uh, equal justice under the law in America.

I mean, I could, I could do an entire Sean Hannity monologue right now like just based off of, uh, Hunter's laptop because it's the same, it's the same thing every single night.

But what Hannity understands is that it's that repetition.

It's that repetition that leads to the people outside the Trump rallies being upset about Hunter Biden's laptop, you know? You say this stuff over and over and over and over again, it just becomes accepted as truth.

Um, same thing that, that, you know, crime and inflation are gonna be the top issues in, in the election, you know? It's just, they keep saying that stuff and it becomes the reality and, and, uh, yeah, yeah, Zero Experience Hunter would, would definitely be Hannity's favorite buzzword though on this.

I- it feels like we don't even grapple with the idea of whether or not we should, we just jump right to whether or not we could.
