And Andrew, if you wanna describe, kinda give some, like, a definition or...
15:08
To kind of take a textbook's definition, you know, solidarity means to have unity or agreement of feeling or action, especially among individuals with a common interest.
15:17
You could also consider it a type of mutual support within a group.
15:21
This, as I mentioned at the kind of kickoff of the episode, this is the one that really struck me, and if I really sit with it, I can actually get pretty emotional about solidarity.
15:30
Like, just, like, the belief that somebody is with you, somebody wants to support you, somebody wants to connect to you, just seems to cut, at least for me, cut right to the sort of core of being a good human [chuckles] which, again, might be, I don't know, a little touchy feely or a little whatever.
15:46
But I found that all the different ways in which people acknowledged being with other people and being in agreement with other people just was really, really striking.
15:55
And whether that was an owner being in solidarity with a worker and wanting to create new supports and new practices, whether that was two different facilities, two different businesses acting in different places, being in solidarity with another and agreeing to, like, take action, or just kind of maybe more of the work that Mechanism is doing, but, like, connecting everyone and saying everyone is in solidarity with each other.
