Is there any aspect of that that you find yourself kind of relying upon the most today, or something that, that became sort of a central theme, you know, going forward then?
14:56
I can't-- You can't say there's one thing.
14:58
I mean, I, I, honestly, it's, it's the culmi- it's, it's all of that coming together.
15:03
I think one of the biggest things, though, is the network that you build around you and the mentors and the people you surround yourself with.
15:10
You know, the, the people that you're always gonna learn from if, if you're in that learning zone all the time, you, you're always gonna take something from s- from every interaction you have with ev- every person.
15:20
So that is something I've carried with me through all of that, is when I'm talking to you, what can I learn about you? How can we build a relationship? Because I'm not gonna come to you and ask you for anything today, and you might not be coming to me asking for anything, but we might need each other at some point.
15:34
You might need me, and I might need you.
17:30
So NBAA, National Business Aviation Association, for, for those that aren't familiar, and I guess, you know, the, the name starts to explain itself, but could you, I guess, kind of shed light on, on what the NBAA is about and the mission today?
11:51
What's got you guys really excited about business aviation right now?
11:54
Well, I mean, our industry is doing pretty well when it comes to backlogs and orders and things like that.
12:00
I'll tell you, the one thing that just happened recently that is kind of a new trend, you know, last year we got an FAA bill, right? So a five-year bill that we are all very excited about and happy about.
12:12
And it had General Aviation in the name for the first time ever.
12:15
Wow.
12:16
um more recently you know you know that there's been over the past decade fights over user fees and air traffic control privatization and the good thing is right now we're a united front for all of aviation when it comes to atc and and enhancing the current system we all agree airlines labor unions, general aviation, business aviation, all agree privatization is not the answer.
12:47
The answer really is getting more funding to go upgrade the system in a faster way and adding space, adding safety, adding everything that we could with new technology.
