What was your first project with your father?

So we had a real stroke of sheer luck.

2006, we applied for our first RFP, so Request for Proposals, that was issued by New York City's Housing Preservation and Development.

We partnered with Larry Hirschfield at ELH Management and with the Zervutis family at Galaxy General Contracting.

Chris and Lisa, you may have had some of them on your podcast at some point.

So we partnered.

We had this team of three companies, the Kretschmer Companies, Galaxy, and ELH, and we responded to my very first RFP.
