So what matters should we be thinking about it and what can governments do?
20:39
Well, listen, I think we also have to think about the Lancet report also said there are some good aspects to social media, right? And we hear that if you sit down with your child, they'll tell you there is some good that comes from seeing other people or reading stories online that are available through social media.
20:59
So I'm not going to say 100% of all social media is a bad thing.
21:03
So- Perhaps a ban outright is not necessarily the only way to think about it, but what we would want government to do, what we've been advocating for, is for government to regulate social media companies.
21:17
We know they're not going to do it on their own, right? They've proven it time and time again.
21:22
If you've been listening to any of, or watching or reading any of the reports coming from the court cases in the States, what we're seeing is employees of these companies saying that they are working or they were working to create addictive programs, that they were creating algorithms that were meant to addict children.
21:43
They're also meant to addict adults, but I think we have a little bit more of an understanding of what we're doing.
25:15
But still again, like an undrum of, is that the best way to spend 15 minutes? Well, it is because I can kind of get 15 minutes.
