I'm wondering if you could help us from a government perspective, which technology groups pose most immediate governance challenges from your vantage point and why?
22:13
Yeah, well, there's a lot of them.
22:15
So let me see if I can give you a priority, right? I think, you know, the gen AI, agentic AI and everything else that's going on within AI is an area where there's breakneck speed of development taking place.
22:30
We have this incredible competition of the big technology companies and startups that are very smart and very focused as well, not just in the US, but in China, parts of Europe.
22:43
Parts of the Middle East.
22:45
So we have a serious and intense competition taking place to develop the next big thing in AI.
22:53
And Gentic AI is clearly one of those things.

Can you explain what you mean by these terms? And maybe can you give some advice on how we can prepare for them?
36:30
Oh my
36:30
God, yes, it is.
36:31
So I was giving you the backdrop of why I think an exponential governance mindset is so important.
36:36
And so I do explore those technologies at the beginning, but my whole point is that board members... decision makers, policymakers, executives, everybody has to adopt a much more future ready, future forward, change sensitive and change ready kind of attitude.
36:56
And I have these five pillars of the exponential governance mindset that I talk about.
37:01
They're all very, you know, they're concepts that we're all familiar with.
37:06
So they're very, you know, 20th century or even 21st beginning of the century.
41:00
It's never happened
10:47
And, you know, down the road, if we become interplanetary, it's going to affect that as well.
10:54
Absolutely.
10:55
Your points are all extremely well taken.
10:59
And, you know, my feeling is we're only scratching the surface right now of what's going to happen.
11:04
Yes.
11:05
For good, for bad and for ugly, I guess, because we really don't know what's going to create what, what's going to cause what or how these various things can converge and create something completely different.
11:18
And one of the areas I don't know enough about to really speak about in an educated way about is what the quantum piece reveals, which is pretty much against everything we've ever thought about in terms of causation and linear thinking.

And I wonder if you were to think about leadership at the organization level, at the community level, at the government level, what are the competencies that leaders need to possess in order to help their people thrive into the future?
22:05
Which technology groups pose most immediate governance challenges from your vantage point and why?

22:52
And Gentic AI is clearly one of those things.
22:56
And we've seen a few developments in the last few weeks that are alarming people about, you know, AI colonies developing and talking to each other.
