Some people might not be familiar with just how a law enforcement agency functions day to day for patrol dispatch analysts, and then expand that to multiple agencies.

Yeah, I mean, you know, in general, you have a town, a city, a county, you have a certain number of personnel that's deployed to look at a beat, a district, a zone.

It could be two, could be 10, could be 50 per beat district zone.

And then you have individuals that are in charge of those different zones that coordinate with a higher command.

That is essentially what happens.

And then there's a group of people that manage radio traffic, usually dispatch telecommunicators that will kind of decides you know hey this is a call this goes to beat one who's available on beat one it's andre okay andre can you take this call at one two three main street that's just policing 101. now you start to get into like larger you know events you need to create sort of an ad hoc task force to kind of deal with the ad hoc situations that come up but you still have general issues that are happening in the city hey someone just got beat up in front of the stadium They call 911.

Who picks up? Well, probably the local dispatch center, no matter what you set up.
