What are your thoughts on this team going into the season?
34:34
My thoughts on the team are that for the first time in a long time, they're about as healthy as they can get.
34:40
I mean, outside of Jordan Tyson, your entire offense, assuming Alvin Kamara can play, and it's seeming like it's trending that way, is going to be available.
34:48
You'll have Tyler Shuck, you'll have Chris Olave, Travis Achan, hopefully AK, your entire offensive line.
34:54
You won't have Jordan Tyson, but you've really never had Jordan Tyson, so it's not like you're having to replace that kind of production.
35:01
You get Devon Bailey back, who was hurt last season, And you've got those two dynamic rookies in Darion Brown and Bryce Lantz.
35:07
So the talent is there.

5 MINS LATER

40:35
Talk about Brandon Staley's defense.
42:35
I'm going to ask you to tell our audience, again, if there are weaknesses on this Saints team, in your opinion, what positions are there? And, of course, again, the opportunity to maybe shore those positions up within the roster or will they have to go outside of the roster to shore those positions up if you feel there is a weakness?
42:55
Right now, I would say the biggest weakness that you have is probably in the secondary.
43:00
Not because they're bad, necessarily, but just because they're unproven.
43:04
You know, you've got Kool-Aid McKinstry, a third-year player, and you've got Quincy Riley, a second-year player.
43:10
Now, both of those guys played significant time last year, but Alante Taylor was holding down the slot.
43:16
Now you're moving a second-year player down.
43:19
into the nickel slash star position in Jonas Sanker, so your quote-unquote top three corners are all really young guys.
48:04
What are your thoughts at the tight end position?
47:17
What have you seen over the last two days of minicamp? Give the audience, again, your synopsis on the Saints.
47:25
The biggest thing right now is the defense has been very impressive.
47:28
I noticed that on the last day of OTAs.
47:31
The defense kind of got the better of the offense, and that's kind of been the script throughout the minicamp as well.
47:37
You know, the defense has definitely been winning over the offense more often than not, but you've also got to keep in mind the defense is a unit that had a lot of chemistry built up.
47:47
I mean, this is a team that was top 10 defense last year, top five against the past last year, and they essentially only lost Two starters, now that Cam Jordan's back.
47:57
They lost to Mario Davis.
50:10
Has Caden Ellis taken that role? If not, who has taken that role of the linebacker position to really be the vocal leader?
16:47
And what is your take on that? Do you think the Saints, based on, again, how noncommittal they've been, are they committed to him being a Saint this upcoming season?
16:58
That comes down to Mickey Loomis because a lot of questions were asked to Alvin about that same thing.
17:05
And his response to each one of those questions were, and I quote, ask Mickey.
17:10
You know, Alvin said as far as he's concerned, he's on the team.
17:14
He's excited to work in with HN.
17:16
He's excited to get back around his teammates.
17:18
He likes what the squad looks like.
18:55
Who was there, and were there any other players missing?
