How, how does it impact your service? How does it impact how you process what happened this weekend?
27:00
Well, you definitely think about those things, but, um, what I saw happen this weekend was all the right things happening in terms of how to deal with this terrible tragedy.
27:08
Uh, there would have been casualty notification teams, which is generally a commanding officer, his regimental, regimental sergeant major, and a padre having to do one of the most difficult duties there is in the military to do, which is a casualty notification to a family.
27:22
Um, there will be assisting officers that have now been assigned to families of the fallen to help them through the process of what happens over the days and weeks ahead.
27:31
Um, there is a huge effort going on to make sure that families can be bedside of the injured, uh, all, all over Alberta as they deal with their injuries and, and, and, uh, and, and recovery.
27:44
And so these supports are underway.
27:46
They're active, and that's one of the things I wanted to talk about today to, to, for pe- people to know that there's a lot of effort going on to make sure that we do what the prime minister said we had to do, which is to serve these families and to help the wounded through their full recovery.
