And with that, this case starts at around 5:45 PM on May 6th, 2013, in the Tremont neighborhood on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio.

There, a 75-year-old woman named Aurora Marty is sitting on a neighbor's front porch on Seymour Avenue catching up with friends, when suddenly, all of a sudden, these women hear screaming and loud banging coming from across the street, 2207 Seymour Ave.

When they look up, they can see that there's a woman's arm that's sticking out of a boarded-up house across the street.

It looks like she's stuck between an open front door and, like, a padlocked storm door, but she's been able to force the storm door open just enough to reach her arm out and start waving it maniacally for help.

But Fernando also had this even darker theory, one that connected Ariel to the kidnapping of those three girls.

After being interviewed as a suspect in the kidnappings, Fernando says he pieced together our fourth clue, which is a connection between the victims and Ariel.

You see, it turns out Ariel actually knew Gina DeJesus the same way Fernando did, through her friendship with Arlene.

But Ariel also knew Amanda Berry, because Amanda was actually friends with his older daughter, Emily.
