What actually made you think, you know what, I'm going to be a professional AFLW player? And like, what did that feel like?

Um, yeah, the guy, Mike Curran, who runs AFLW Ireland page, he reached out to me around like Christmas time or like the year before.

And yeah, I never really, it was never on, it was never on the cards to even move to Australia or play AFLW.

But yeah, I just, it came at a good time.

I was finishing my studies back home and And like I said, we would never get the opportunity to play professional sport.

So as it progressed and it was actually becoming real, it was quite surreal.

And I don't think I had so much going on back home playing Gaelic football and netball study.

And for you, Anna, obviously coming over here, making a career out of AFLW, do you hope that girls back home are dreaming about this potential opportunity and looking up to you as well?
