This trip was, we had permits for a four-night, five-day trip.

And so it was around August 24th, or kind of that week of August in 2022.

And kind of the big meat of the story happened on, what, day three, I think? Two or three? Two and three, I would say, of that trip.

So yeah, it was the Copper Ridge Loop in North Cascades National Park.

And then we also had planned a side trip up to Taptoe Lakes.

You like leave the loop on day two and go kind of like a 20 mile total out and back trip to this beautiful like alpine lake.
