Like what happens to these people when they lose their identity? And I just like, can you talk about, you know, the dangers of that and developing also an eating disorder and where the mindfulness fits in with all of that?
12:41
Yeah, so there's a number of questions in there.
12:44
I want to go back to one of the points you made, which I think is really important, that when you are exercising for sport and you're engaging in intense exercise, that can create like... lack of appetite or hunger and also you're probably busier if you're trying to manage school and sport and you're also growing as an adolescent you know that makes it all really complicated and it may appear and you may even think you're eating enough but you actually are still not getting enough for the level of activity that you're doing right so there's this you mentioned what like just needing to eat on routine like this mechanical eating it's essential.

And sometimes it goes unnoticed.
13:23
And unfortunately, I think a lot of times athletes will assume that when they see a decrease in their performance, right, they're not their output isn't the same.
13:31
Oh, no, I need to train harder.
13:33
It's like, no, no, no, no, no, you need to fuel more, which is an important distinction.
