And one question that comes to mind is when did horses first come into your life?

Yeah.

So I, um, actually grew up in a non-horsey family.

Um, no one in my family rides or I, yeah, didn't get brought up around horses.

I was your typical country girl who begged mom and dad for years to get a pony.

Um, and then I still remember my first pony.

Mom and dad surprised me with her when I was maybe 9, 10 years old.
