They're like, oh, that person's been on and Daniel Priestley talks about this all the time he calls it like the halo effect of like if you're associated with that person then oh you must be like that person so I think that's such a clever strategy once you got the momentum going is there anything that you did within the events because I know community was really important to you is there anything that you did to build community with the people once they came to the summit Well,
9:00
I think there's a few things that we actually did prior to the summit.
9:03
So, for example, we had a couple of speakers that we onboarded and initially the event was meant to take place in Sydney for our inaugural event.
9:14
And then what happened was it was really hard to find a space that was – big enough that had, you know, all of the audio visual that we needed, that had the two stages that we wanted.
9:24
And it just so happened that we took a trip down to Melbourne.
9:27
And while we were there, we thought, okay, why not just have a look at some venues here? The first venue we looked at was the Ridges Hotel and it was perfect.
9:36
So we thought, okay, we haven't started selling tickets yet.

we cannot literally let the world,
16:08
What was the problem that you were trying to solve when you launched it?
16:12
Well, basically, I came home from Amsterdam.
16:15
I was a content creator, but I was struggling to not only monetize my work, but I wanted to connect with other creators that wanted to talk about the algorithm and hooks.
16:26
And none of my friends were interested in this.
16:28
And they were getting so tired of me talking about TikTok at pre-drinks.
16:32
They were like, please shut up about this app that we don't care about.
16:35
So I wanted to find a community of people.

25:50
But I'd love to hear more about your experience, what the story you thought you were telling versus the story they ended up telling.
22:38
His sister
22:39
said, hey, Amy, I saw the video you made about Josh.
22:42
I'm really just confused by his behavior.
22:46
He's never had anything but positive things to say about you.
22:50
I know that he really loved you.
22:52
I'm so sorry.
22:53
I can't believe he did this to you.

Still on the phone with his sister, Amy immediately started to look through their chat history.
