I have enough to be miserable.
12:42
I have had a lot of people like on the streets be like, I'm already joyful.
12:45
Like, all right, cool.
12:47
That's all good.
12:48
Like more power to you, man.
12:50
But I think that it's a hard pill to swallow to say it's kind of hard to retrain ourselves to learn to be joyful.
12:57
Like it's, I call it the joy gym.
15:04
What did being a joyful person before you were a joyful person look like? Like, what did it look like? What did looking, going to the gym, the joy gym look like? What was the first rep? Yeah.

Mum Amy Dickens says she's seen firsthand the importance of keeping these heritage breeds
38:29
alive.
38:30
I think it's great to maintain diversity of breeds across all species, whether we're talking sheep or cattle, and utilise then the benefits of cross-breeding.
38:39
And that's where this breed really sings, is in a terminal size sense and cross-breeding.
38:43
And like Mitchell said, they grow super fast.
38:46
It blew us away when we first started breeding them here.
38:48
And yeah, I think it's important to maintain the diversity and keep these breeds going.

I asked the boy's mum, Amy, how the stud came about, particularly at such a young age.
47:02
And if you feel comfortable sharing with us, what has it been for you to approach your pleasure in a more ceremonial way and the journey that we've gone through and how has that affected your joy and and your nervous system
47:15
yeah completely honestly i gotta say it looked completely different from what my like i don't know preconceived notions are of this and i feel like as someone who comes from like dissociating and numbness and like i recognized that my body would go into like freeze mode like it would just like and then like any kind of like pleasure oriented activity so it was like honestly i was like the most transformational thing was just like lovingly touching my skin and like getting reoriented to like, hey, that was something I don't think I've like ever like really like consciously done as a practice.
47:50
And I'm like, wow.
47:51
And I can honestly say like, I can feel like the difference of sensation.
47:57
And when I just like I'm touching my hands and like my shoulders, I'm like, whoa, like, I can just feel more sensation in that than I can remember feeling at the beginning of our time together.
48:08
And it's also a really lovely tool to have anywhere I go.
48:14
Anywhere I go, I can just touch my hands, and it comes back into the body.
