How do you maintain a sense of groundedness in that vision while at the same time making the numbers make sense?

Amos GillespieGUEST
I, I remember a customer of mine, one morning while I was making his drink, we were just talking about the, the financial challenges that come with a business, and he said, "You know, I started with loaning quite a bit of money," him, not me.

Amos GillespieGUEST
He started a business loaning quite a bit of money, and, you know, two years later, he's like, "I don't really have a lot to show for it." And he's like, "You can be really thankful that you're not owing a lot of money." You know, and I think that probably was kind of the universe looking out for me, so to speak.

Amos GillespieGUEST
I think when I first started, I was kinda tempted by these, like, this, this online marketing.

Amos GillespieGUEST
I could have probably sunk a lot of money into areas that wouldn't have served me that well.

Amos GillespieGUEST

Talking to other cafe owners as you are now, and those that may be potentially starting one, what is your best advice, or how would you advise them to develop themselves, their business? What kind of energy and focus should they give? In what areas? What do you say?
