Harvey has taken on the role of social captain.

I'm the mama bear.

Harvey's the social captain.

Yeah, he force feeds us.

Food and drink.

Always making us hang out.

Is there anything else that you want to say to the fans at home about this production of Rocky Horror?

But can we take each of those pieces in part and a little bit more about what you have learned about... how those experiences are in the body and the healing and that, yeah, talk to me a little bit about the golden, I guess the more of that work that you've done in different ways situations and context, the easier it is to see those golden threads that follow through.

Well, I'll start just by reflecting on why I chose dance movement therapy and somatic therapy as I had this, I think true, but somewhat naive belief that it would be automatically multicultural, automatically universally accessible to people.

I've been working in the humanitarian space and was disillusioned with many things.

Humanitarianism often equals colonialism, neocolonialism.

And so I went to school for that.

And, you know, the way that the somatics, they still mostly come out of a Western therapeutic framework.

Very much so.

How, or in a therapeutic context, does it... come into community and connection

Was it a fun challenge or any challenge at all to capture that performance on film?

No, it was no challenge.

Look at me smacking my gum.

It was not a challenge.

I mean, I've been playing the role for 12 years, so it's extraordinary to come back to it after two years.

And I got to go deeper, which is super fun.

It's a very comfortable outfit to put on.

What is your absolute favorite thing about the vibe of this show that you are most excited for moviegoers to see?

Um-

Um-I hope we are expansive on that front, you know, more so even than people were allowed to be 53 years ago when the piece was first made.

That's what I can hope for.

Tell us about that conversation.

Well, I had worked with Albee before, the wig maker, and, um, we wanted to honor the original silhouettes, you know, of Richard O'Brien and his sort of slimy, stringy hair.

[laughs]

Like, "Just love me.

Love me, please." But also, you know, I really wanna go home to my home planet, and Frank-N-Furter's gone too far, so now I gotta take him out.

I love him.

I think I really love him, but it's gone too far, and- and now he has to be removed-

[laughs]

[laughs] ... and- and what that meant in my human form.

Like, how do humans talk and move? And, uh, that's the main thing I focused on.
