And I know from the little bit of work that I've done with the Saskatchewan Sport Fish Research Group on some of their fish studies, there's so many different controls and different things that you're looking at within a study, right? So how is this something that you're able to deal with those controls, Amanda? Because obviously we talked about the trail cams and stuff, but this is obviously a lot different than a fish that's in your hands right now and you're dealing with it real time right so what's that going to look like

yeah so there are a lot of variables with this experiment and we're trying to hopefully tackle them a couple at a time so the experiments we're running this summer are primarily based on determining Will deer eat either the boba form or the dry strip form? Will they eat it more if it's mixed in with a feed that is well known that they like, whether that be alfalfa or peas or just things that different outfitters use to bait with relative frequency? Can we mix our forms in with that and have them eat it? But then also the question of how complicated does our delivery system need to be? We're putting these tasty morsels out there.

If they have vaccine in them, it's a pretty large financial cost and we want as little of that to go to waste as possible.

So do we have bears coming around and eating our... supplies? Do we have birds or squirrels or other animals coming thinking this seems like a tasty snack? And then if so, how do we control that? So that's where my engineering background might come in of actually building a control system and container that can dispense vaccine on demand.

So it's kind of those findings we are really trying to figure out this time.

And we have, I think we're at 37 sites across Alberta and Saskatchewan.

And then we'll be adding a couple more actually in Texas in the near future with a collaborator down there to try to hit some more of the extremes.

But kind of what was your hypothesis going into this? Like, what were you thinking would come out of out of this study?
