Yeah.

So many of the defenses are just so intertwined.

It's so complex.

But anyways, we kinda went deep into, um, some of identification.

But in the most simplest terms, identification is the ability to identify with another person or aspects, traits of another person.

And like any other defense, it's an inherently neutral process, and it can have positive or negative effects depending on who is this, the object of identification.
