So Amanda, what about you? What inspired you to get involved? Yeah,

so I had an interesting start into the dairy industry.

Unlike many, I didn't grow up in dairy.

I grew up in a rural community and but no real ties to egg.

And like many young women, I was like, I want to be a veterinarian.

And I kind of dove headfirst into that and had that dream and followed it pretty blindly at the time and declared animal science as my undergrad major at UW-Madison without really understanding what animal science was.

It was what my academic advisor told me pre-med to do.
