What is a mortician?

A mortician is somebody who, uh, cares for the, for the deceased.

Like, people think, "Oh, it's hair and makeup," but it's so varied.

I mean, like, every body is different, and really, how can I put it? It's just about giving someone their dignity at the very last time that they're gonna be on this earth, and the families also, that they have a, like, wonderful, you know, last memory of them.

Um, if you want to know, like, exactly, well, washing, setting features, because when we pass away, like, naturally all of our muscles relax, so the mouth will be open, the eyes will be open, so we close those.

There could be all sorts of things going on with the body.

Lots of things can happen, uh, depending on the circumstances, so we have to do things like stop certain body fluids from coming out.
