I mean, w- how is that handled?
20:34
Oh, no. Yeah.
20:35
Well, this is my always my joke.
20:37
Um, I tell people, and so if you remember, every time you, uh, wash your clothing, you put it in a hurricane box.
20:43
[laughs] I mean, it goes into the most aggressive washing machine, and it's wind and rain [laughs] and, and all the elements within one piece.
20:53
Um, but cotton is a very strong material, so I always do...
20:57
When we do a call for fabric, I always say, you know, sadly no clothing, no stretch because, you know, when it hangs on the, on the building it can't sag.
23:00
... sewing away? [laughs]
39:22
What are examples of fabric donations that would work well for this project?
39:27
Yeah, the reason we use cotton is that it's non-stretchy.
39:31
You know, one thing, just to kind of do a comment on fast fashion, everything has become stretch, especially in clothing.
39:39
So this is not that.
39:41
When you hang something on the building or drape, it has a stretch to it, and we want to take that out.
39:46
Cotton is also one of the strongest fabrics that we can use that's found in our homes.
39:52
And so what I'm looking for is cotton that's colorful, saturated in tone.
42:30
How do you get people to jump in and try this?
