And so you could say if the movement was designed to create this entity, and now the entity has been created, what do we still need Zionism for? So help us understand why we do still need Zionism and what it means today when we've experienced, in some ways, liberation.

I am, as you know, an activist in lots of different ways, and I'm a feminist.

And in 1920, women got the right to vote.

We got suffrage.

Mostly white women.

Took some time for other groups to, you know, have voting rights protection, but we started with success in the suffrage movement more than a century ago.

1973, Roe versus Wade is passed, and abortion is protected in all 50 states.

That was, uh... we're talking, uh, closing in on 60 years ago." So I'd love you to talk about some of those wedge issues and why it is perhaps, again, not, uh, to, to diagnose the, the, the challenges in its entirety, but to give us a sense of why it is that this partnership that, uh, was so strong and existed for so many decades is, uh, uh, has frayed in certain ways and is challenged today in ways that perhaps it, it wasn't 30, 40, 50 years ago.
