She was the founder and CEO of Theranos, um, which was a health tech company that created the device called the Edison.

The Edison, they claimed, could do a wide range of medical tests with only a small finger prick's worth of blood, and the idea is you could eliminate the burden of needles and the pain of taking a lot of blood out.

Um, those claims led the company to be valued at something like $9 billion at the, at the height of its hype.

Mm.

And he, and that may have really disastrous consequences for how his audience might receive him or his public image.
