Lofia, if I take you back 11 months ago when you first signed with this club, what were you wanting? And if we fast forward to now, what have you got out of it?
0:52
What I was wanting to start was, you know, I guess a different path to what I was on.
1:00
You know, I wanted to go to another level with my footy.
1:05
Just, you know, on and off the field as well, man.
1:08
How can I be a better person? How can I be a better football player? And, you know, this club has definitely provided a lot to help me to get to those goals.
1:18
And, yeah, no, my stay here has been awesome.
1:23
And, yeah, like I could name a lot of things, but I think just me being a better person is probably up there when it comes to my name.
2:16
leading the
10:21
What was the turnaround there for you? Like I know that would have hurt you not making the side for round one, but you've obviously used that, you know, to your advantage to be playing the football you have of late.
10:33
Yeah, bro.
10:34
Yeah, I had a stint in there in cup for a bit.
10:37
Honestly, man, like, I went back to ground zero.
10:41
You know, I really wanted to find myself again.
10:44
Coming off from last year, I didn't really have one of the best years of my career.
10:48
And then I really wanted to come over here and just be a sponge, man.

7 MINS LATER

17:31
Do you feel like there's something special coming?
CharlieHOST
20:11
How's the injury
20:13
going, bro? Far out.
20:15
Oh, got an exclusive.
20:18
No, it's not too bad.
20:20
It's not as bad as what we thought it was going to be.
20:24
Pretty lucky that it's just some bruising around a bone in my foot.
20:29
Should only be pushed for next week, but yeah, two weeks at max, I think.
AzuraHOST
20:50
You know, what are you guys expecting from the Titans this weekend? Is this
17:50
And often we ask them, like, what has Webby done for their game specifically to sort of, I guess, elevate them to that next level? So I put that question to you, like, what has Andrew Webster done, I guess, or what have you been able to achieve under him this season coming to the club?
18:09
yeah for me he really um told me that you know there was something special within me and he wanted to get it out of me and you know glory to webby and he's actually unlocked some things that i don't i didn't think i had in my game and you know a coach that that um just takes time and time away from the from the other boys and other coaches just comes to you personally and tells you hey like we can do this and do that just try this and maybe that can happen and man i take that real real personal and and i have high respects for for people like that that just really want to give their all to you and want you to become a better player and you know we've touched on a lot of things me and me and webby and you know it's awesome because you you think you've learned everything but you know there's always something new that you can learn
19:25
The ball gets in your hands and I'm just like... go just i want you to go question i've got for you is though like how hard is it actually to just do that every time because we know the game's played under fatigue we know that someone like yourself who's got this express pace you have to manage it a little bit you can't just be going 100 all the time so talk us through what sort of goes through your mind when the ball's in your hands the times that you just want to i guess take the line on and times when you be a little bit more conservative
19:54
Yeah, you definitely got to have smarts around it.
19:58
You know, I don't really want to, you know, if we take a short side, I don't really want to put the gas afterburners on and then, you know, like play with the touch line.
20:11
I don't really think about those things.
20:15
But yeah, I guess you just got to have some smarts around it, especially with my game.
20:20
All I want to do is run around people and, you know, I do try to conserve myself and hold back sometimes, but whenever I do get a chance and I don't need too much space, if I get a little bit of space, man, my first initial thought is go.
CharlieHOST
20:56
What's the thoughts going into this game against the Dragons this weekend?
21:01
Yeah, the bottom team.
21:05
It doesn't really change anything.
21:07
We're honestly just keen to rip in and just play our type of footy and fix up some of those things that we weren't really executing last week.
21:18
We're just so keen to just play our footy.
21:22
Obviously, coming to near finals, we really want to work on a lot of things
HadsGUEST
21:36
Yeah, what is on the to-do
21:37
list? Just around our execution areas, how we can finish the ball and the turnarounds and just keeping some teams in their 10 and...
10:24
Uh, why do you think you potentially weren't capitalizing on all the opportunities you were creating?
10:30
I think we just got trigger happy to be honest.
10:32
Um, trying to...
10:33
We saw a lot of space on the outside and, you know, all, all...
10:37
When you see space, mate, you just wanna chip there and get into space and feed it to your fast boys out, out, out in the sting.
10:42
But, um, obviously you gotta, you gotta win it first and earn it first, sorry, and earn it in, through the middle and then, and then create more space.
10:49
But the, the space was kinda already there for you and, and, and I guess we just got trigger happy so.
12:05
in the next few weeks, uh, Dragons, Bulldogs, Titans, um, what are you guys' thoughts on? I suppose you got an easier run in, do you think, to- towards the end of the season compared to the first half of your season that you've had?
35:09
Um, are you able to take us inside your experience when you've been with the Titans and some of those conversations that were had within? And maybe the group has leaned on you this week to share those experiences.
35:23
Uh, you know, there hasn't been too much, um, said from my side.
35:29
I think we just need to stick to, uh, our system and our connection that's been working for us.
35:34
And, you know, uh, it's, it's, um, always been a pleasure going up against the Titans.
35:42
I mean, sorry, the Warriors.
37:24
Talk to us about some of the changes that you made to allow yourselves to defend like you did.
37:31
Yeah, for me, [clears throat] it was just wanting to, you know, back my boys up and, um, you know, kind of...
37:37
It, it was my first game, so I kinda wanna earn their respect.
2:20

And, you know, I... it's, it's, um, always been a pleasure going up against the Titans.

I mean, sorry, the Warriors.

Talk to us about some of the changes that you made to allow yourselves to defend like you did.
4:41
Yeah, for me, [clears throat] it was just wanting to, you know, back my boys up and, um, you know, kind of...
4:47
It, it was my first game, so I kinda wanna earn their respect.
0:55
mean to
0:56
you? Yeah, it means a lot.
0:57
You know, I don't know too much of it just yet.
1:01
But, you know, what the boys told me, you know, it's definitely a special moment for me.
1:05
And, you know, just to be presented, to be welcomed to the club, bro, is an honour in itself.
1:11
So, bro, right now I'm so excited.
1:13
And, honestly, I just want to give back and, you know, display my skills and give back to the team on the field, bro.
2:19
while?
