But, um, it's very, it gives me anxiety.

It's really uncomfortable, and I knew Kathryn before the show too, 'cause we're in like the same larger friend group here in LA, and I think she's beautiful, and I think she's funny, and I think she's really fun to hang out with.

Um, he pinky promised me that he would come back to me and that I feel like home to him, and said that multiple times, that like we have something really special, and I wanted to believe him really badly.

But like, you can pinky promise me whatever the fuck you want-

Yeah.

Like girl to girl.

But I told him when we were talking by the pool and he told me, he was like, "Okay, I need to go talk to Kat.

Mm-hmm

... you know that this relationship is strained, and you know it's not necessarily the mom's fault.

It's not necessarily the daughter's fault.

It's just circumstance, and that's even more devastating, 'cause there's nothing to blame.

There's nothing to be mad at.

It's just a result of mental health.

It's a result of these circumstances and the reality of their situation.

Yeah

Mm-hmm.

And back then, things, you know, medicines and so forth, are not the same as they are now.

So there are things that are a- at your disposal, um, that, um, a doctor will help sort out.

You definitely need to see a doctor, and they'll help sort it out, and it, it may be a little bit of trial and error, but it'll happen.

And at the same time, personal help, um, uh, on the behavioral side, so that you can learn lots of things to do to help yourself.

Now, um, I was a little hard-headed where that, [laughs] where that comes, um, you know, where, where, where that's concerned.

Um, I kind of stumbled into, uh, a type of help-

But if you keep it light-hearted and fun, and in this case you got these great connections, it lightens the load is how I see it.

... she noticed your friendship with him.

Yeah, she did, and she's been asking him who I was, because apparently she, like, saw his Facebook and saw that, like, oh, he's friends with, like, a new girl.

I don't know who that is.

Like, who is she? And he was just like, "Oh, this is...

It's just a friend.

Like, a friend of a friend, so I added her."

[laughs]

[laughs] And Quasar's like, "Well, it is what it is." And [laughs]...

It's, this next part I think is really funny, because Attlas is just outside in space, and the whole time Dr. Minerva's like, "No, we have to go get him," and he's like, "He's probably dead." "No, he's not dead.

We can still go get him." Ugh.

So, um, he, he really respects comics and what has come before, but he knows how to put his own spin on them.

So back in 2007, I had my, my, um, my third and my last child, um, and I lived in a co-op with my new husband and so forth.

And, um, but the co-op was a little, always a little hinky, and there was always things going on to the point where I had people come in, and even before I moved in permanently, I gutted it, I blessed it.

I had everything done, but there was always a lot of activity.

You could pick up things quite easily there.

And, um, and as this child began to develop, um, she was picking up a lot, which was ridiculous.
