How much of that are you kind of constructing as you go, and how much of that is pre-planned?

I guess you don't pre-plan too much.

Before I go there, I sort of, you know, we need three different things we need to film, whether that's mustering sheep or working with cattle or ...

Well, I sort of for myself write down some questions to help prompt, but I don't necessarily use them, and sometimes the person you're having a chat with comes out with something better than any question you could have asked.

And as they're saying it, you know it's gold, one, 'cause it's genuine.

They've forgotten the camera's there at all, and you, you couldn't have scripted them better than what they're giving you.

And then it's after you've done the interview, you have to think in your head, how might this edit together, and what cutaways do I need to be able to cut away from the person and, and reinforce a little bit of what they're talking about, whether that's, "We planted this corridor of, of native trees here, and we did this over here," and you're sort of trying to think of capturing everything.

It sounds to me like everything's getting increasingly over-complicated.
