And the deeper we get into this crisis, unfortunately, the more likely we are to hear of a major tragedy or a major collapse or something along those lines, Ali.
19:24
There's no doubt about it.
19:26
houses are getting a lot worse and you know, the first crack comes and then there's a multiplying effect.
19:35
Without a doubt, houses are not going to last forever, but there's lots of people have, bit the bullet for want of it and they're moving on.
19:45
But there's so, so many people who haven't the headspace or money to get on with this scheme.
19:53
So, you know, this is probably, we're going to have to think outside the box for this.
20:01
Like I often say this, I was a happy man the day I moved into my new house in 2002.
22:30
You know they're there and I know they're there, don't get me wrong, but I still believe the majority who are affected by this crisis are not dealing with it yet.
74:42
Talk to me about the situation they find themselves in, Ali.
74:46
Right.
74:49
I thought long and hard about telling this story, to be fair, Greg, because it's a very personal story for me and for our family, and especially for my mother and father.
75:00
My father is very much with it, and he will see the stories on Donegal Daily or whatever, because he sits and he watches all that.
75:10
My mother... was 85 yesterday, actually.
75:15
And she has an illness that...
75:21
We call it dementia.
76:25
You tell him to, you know, see out your time in a house that's four years

swim with our local piers and harbours.
48:45
Well, it's something I grew up doing.
48:47
It's my children grew up doing and that people in this community do on a regular basis.
48:53
And in fact, next week we'll have 140 children learning to swim in Mallinhead Pier.
48:58
And, you know, it's the piers around this coast, while they're being used for fishing and one thing or another and have for generations, have also been used for leisure, for fun and, you know, We don't have any swimming pools being built in this neck of the woods, so it's too bad we can't use our piers and harbours.
49:20
I only ask the simple question, is it the council's policy to now go on erect railings around all the other piers? Because if we don't ask the question, we don't get an answer.
49:33
And in fact, I didn't get an answer, but I want to highlight that the piers should be open for everybody for...
52:01
It's part of... living by the sea?
