Now I find it really helpful because I can understand my difficulties and I can communicate them to other people.

But for a long time, even after the diagnosis, I was like, I'm probably fine.

Or even asking myself, am I faking it? Or is this real? Do I have a right to acknowledge this part of my personality or identity? Because I'm so privileged in so many ways, I was almost like ashamed to say I'm neurodivergent because I didn't want other people to think that I was claiming an oppression that didn't belong to me.
