When we did, uh, 'cause it's one I've quoted before.

When we did Boogie Nights, the scene where I'm kinda, like, completely high on coke, and the three boys are, like, you know, on the sofa trying to do the d- the deal, and we've got the young, the young kid kinda lighting the firecrackers, just lighting them ad, ad- ad lib.

He's just lighting them any old time.

The way that, uh, Paul Thomas Anderson set that scene up is that he, he wanted the, the young actor who was playing the young kid lighting the firecrackers, those firecrackers were full bore.

They were, like, you know, capa- full capacity sort of explosion, which I think drove the sound m- the s- the sound department crazy.

But the reason he wanted them like that, and he told that young actor, "Just light them whenever you want.

And, uh, uh, can you tell us anything about it without kinda giving anything away in the show? And-

Well, I play a character called Sam, Sam Cooper, and Sam is a reluctant new arrival at this, um, this kind of, uh, residence.

It's, it's a, it's a, it's this very up, high...

The Burrows is a very high-end senior residence, residential sort of place.

It's very, very high-end.

They've got pools, they've got a ballroom.

They've got all kinds of facilities, great...
