Mm

... you know, I, um, I kind of have taken on a very bodily palette, but...

And you know, when it, when it drips and there's, like, these, you know, these intense, like, red drips or, like, you know, the way it, like, bleeds into the canvas, I never really see it as, as violent, but more as, like, kind of a meditation of what it means to be human.

Uh, that's kind of, you know, how I think about the work.

But you know, some people, I've had a lot of people say that it feels kind of violent and kind of, um, urgent.

And I mean, urgency's kind of m- something that...

Urgency is kind of the reason I paint.

Mm.
