So maybe you can share a little bit to kind of give some perspective there and maybe talk a little bit about kind of some of the responsibilities that fall under you as CIO.
2:37
We have a very diverse set of operations at Leidos.
2:40
So we have a defense sector, which is primarily serving our US government.
2:46
We have a Intel sector, which is serving our Intel communities, very high-end software, cyber capabilities, and complex solutions there.
2:55
We've got our Homeland team, which is serving homelands, both here in the United States, as well as overseas, and so providing capabilities, IT and cyber to both governments, regulated industries, and international customers.
3:12
We also have a health sector, which is providing health services all across the US, especially to our veteran community.
3:21
And so we're working with doctors and nurses and mobile clinics.
7:32
How do you figure out kind of like what to prioritize and like, you know, where do you start?
14:29
What's, what stood out in your achievements so far?
14:33
I think as we talk about transforming the user experience and getting to the real heart of IT service delivery and looking at bringing new capabilities in, one of the things that we're doing right now is transforming the internal employee experience for how we serve our employees when they have technological issues.
14:56
And so we have seen a massive decrease in tickets by our ability to heal proactively when our assets, right, whether it's phones or computers or other items on the network are degrading in service.
15:14
And so being able to proactively address those, to push things, um, to users, simple things like, "Oh, I have a pop-up on my computer that says I just got something overnight and do I want to restart now or on my lunch hour? Um, I actually have a break at lunch, so I'll do it then.
15:30
Let's schedule it then." It's just one less thing for the employee to have to do.
15:33
It's one less phone call.
15:34
It's less downtime.
17:12
When you, when you contrast the kind of environments you're having to work in with, with what can happen outside of those intensely regulated environments, what roadblocks are there and, and, and what creative opportunities are there to, to get around those roadblocks in a way that, that helps everybody without compromising those very strict conditions of work?
