So after the movie wrapped, I effectively retired.

My parents kind of sat me down and were like, do we want to keep doing this? Do we want to like wait till you're a bit older? Because they saw like it was taking a toll on our family.

Like my parents were kind of in separate states.

You know, my mom was with me filming and my dad was home with my siblings.

I have a younger brother and sister.

And so they were kind of like they saw that.

Do you have a reason for that number?

As a standalone movie, I mean, I say this all the time.

I get leery about these sequels comparing it to anything else.

Yeah, I know.

cry acting that is like okay that's cry acting but you're little like you're like your breath work and the the chin quiver and you you nailed it it just at such a young age and were there other i guess projects you worked on or here specifically because sally's not yelling she's not being like vicious to you but she is like yelling at her kids was that like something that was uncomfortable um

I think I always understood acting versus reality.

Like I don't think I ever had difficulty conflating the two.

I think I always had a real sense of clarity around that.

Moments were intense and like I said kind of from the outside watching scenes where Nicole was, you know, it was scary simply because like, Ooh, you know, it's a scary subject matter, but it's not like I mistook that and thought this is something that's really happening or, you know, that we'll, we'll talk about the possession scenes later.

Like those are scary stuff that's happening, but there's moments of levity also in between the shots.

Like I think I don't remember the set being heavy in between takes.

The queen has arrived.

And she told us that when we were completely blown away and she wanted to make sure that the fans who have welcomed her so warmly and supported her and celebrated her memories from the film would have the opportunity to join her for this really special so Lexi give us all the details who what when where what are we doing

And it's been kind of back and forth with all the planning.

But yeah, today is the day.

So the event will take place on Saturday, August 22nd.

It's going to take place here in Dallas, which is my hometown.

So, like, when you guys go and analyze it, there are so many, like, cool callbacks just in the trailer alone that I really appreciate it.

and just so you know all this stuff so when you go back and look you're like zoom in and see um there's some cool my big question coming out of it and I I will totally admit I I have not read the new book yet I've read the I've read the older ones but I have not read the new one yet so that's like my goal between I wanted to like make sure the new movie was based on the book before I jumped in right yeah so now I'm like okay well I have two months to read it basically get it knocked out so at any rate I don't exactly know the story and what happens in the new one but I'm kind of excited to read it and find out but yeah there's like a lot of parallels I think to like the Antonia and Kylie's characters to what like Sally and Jillian were experiencing I think in the last one so you kind of like see that playing out in the trailer which is kind of interesting Yeah, I love the little

Well, Lexi, how old were you when you were in it?

um so when we were filming I was like eight seven or eight I think yeah and then Evan was a couple years older than me so yeah I've been actually I've been texting with my mom I'm like you gotta we've got some stuff in storage like I need all my stuff like send me everything so she's been going in the you know to get everything I'm like I need all my my things so she's been finding some very interesting uh things yeah yeah so yeah it's been fun to like relive some of it but we've been loving a long time ago
