How much of a problem is cooing and gurgling babies or even possibly crying babies in our theaters in your view, Alex Wood?
73:14
Wood?I personally, I think that, you know, i- the moment that a baby makes a sound and is disturbing others, the only option is to take the baby out of the auditorium, and that is exactly what the RSC guideline says.
73:27
And they're fairly progressive in that they say that y- if you have babes in arms, you can bring them into the auditorium as long as they do not disturb a single other audience member.
73:36
But what has happened here is that clearly the baby has disturbed others, and at that point, the parent should have just very casually left the auditorium, and I think if they had done so, maybe early on in the performance, we wouldn't be talking about this right now because they would have just gone away, and people would've been able to focus on Kenneth Branagh's incredible performance in The Tempest.

Yeah
74:47
... she had to castigate a member of the audience for being on their phone during a pivotal moment in that play.
74:53
Um, and I do think that if you don't have respect for the people that are trying to tell you a story on that stage or the people sitting next to you in an auditorium, then you just shouldn't be coming to the theater.
75:03
And I think respect can manifest itself in so many different ways.

Stinks.
41:49
No, the s- yeah, the smell doesn't come off.
41:50
So, like, w- IYeah.
42:08
And they won- they wondered why I, I...
42:10
The last one I was like, "I'm not, I'm not coming back.
42:11
I don't wanna do it."
44:49
Yeah.
44:49
Went to Don Bradman's statue, sculled another beer, went to WA Cottesloe, stayed there for, like, four hours, and then flew overnight to Brisbane, and then got a V- it was, like, an old Ford limo boosted us down to the Tweed-Coolangatta border.
