Side effects?

Um, well, I will tell you that there are side effects with the doses that we could potentially prescribe in clinic, and there are side effects that can happen at the doses that patients will sometimes take on their own.

And so...

And but that's true with everything.

That's true with testosterone.

It's true with any compound, right? You go above, you know, what's recommended and, you know, the r- m- the train can come off the tracks a little bit.

So, um, I will say even in the doses that we prescribe, fluid retention to a certain degree, you know, is real.

Yeah.

Other than those guys, no, everyone's like, "Hey, a little bit more, you know, it might be fun." So-

So-Yeah.

Sure.

I mean, who doesn't, you know, want to be a little bit stronger, be a little bit better, have a little bit...

I mean, you know, once you get over 35, have a little bit more hair, you know, drive a little faster.

And so I think it's natural to be curious about, you know, how you can improve your body and, you know, get more everywhere.

And, you know, the thing is, is that in, you know, my world of urology, I mean, that's the constant joke we get from everyone.

What are some of the other peptides that work for men?

Can you say more about what has to happen next in order for 503As to be able to lawfully compound the peptides?

Yeah.

So this vote by the PCAC, it's great.

It's a great win.

I mean, it certainly is the most positive thing that could have come out of this.

It is not binding.

The FDA, the very people who don't want patients to have these peptides, clearly, based on everything they've said publicly and their own recommendation, those people get to write the rules.

So what I will say is that right now, uh, there's a bit of a saga that kind of goes into peptides, and it very closely ties into compounding pharmacies here in the United States.

I'm gonna try to make this brief because I, I don't want to bore anyone in your audience.

But, you know, obviously everyone knows CVS and Walgreens and corner pharmacies, but, you know, that's not what pharmacies started out as.

I mean, pharmacies started out as your pharmacist that you know by name who gets a paper script from your doctor who makes a medication that that doctor prescribes, and they usually will do it on the counter in front of you and then provide it for you.

And that was, you know, the most intimate form of healthcare and personalized medicine that used to be the standard.
