So what are lots?

Lots, well, uh, a lot of people might think, or if you not know, if you do not know a lot of about astrology, lots are not planets, uh, fixed stars or, um...

Th- they are, uh, mathematical points basically that are derived from planets, right? So, uh, let's say for example, I think the one lot that we all know is the Lot of Fortune.

So you would take, uh, the Sun and the Moon, so you'd take the distance between them in your chart, and then once you have like all the degrees that are, you know, separating, uh, those two planets, then, uh, you project it from the ascendant usually.

But there are lots that, uh, do not use the ascendant as, uh, in the formula.

They use sometimes like other house cusps or planets.

But yeah, they're basically like mathematical points and they're used to confirm topics, and they, they can also be used as timing techniques which are so, so helpful.
