cool.
3:20
Yeah.
3:22
So in 2019, we took over Thorne Vet, and we were a separate entity from Thorne.
3:28
We had a great relationship with them, though.
3:29
When we formulated products, when we went out and had to, for example, start a new product, we'd get the okay from the scientists at Thorne, the brains over there, because we needed to keep that Thorne reputation and the name.
3:41
It's got a great name, and they didn't want us to go out there and just destroy it or completely just make products that weren't effective and so on and so forth.
3:50
So for 2019 to 2023-ish, we were just rocking and rolling and loving life.

Yeah, yeah.

Alex, for a farmer who's heard about them but never drilled a cover crop in their lives before, um, what is a cover crop and why should they care? But also what, what's the sort of diversity behind it?
3:14
So cover crops can take a range of different functions.
3:18
They can look a million and one different ways depending on the system, depending on what the purpose of them is.
3:24
Um, I suppose the traditional cover crop that everyone thinks about when they hear the words cover crop, and especially when they've seen it in the SFI and Countryside Stewardship before that, was overwintered within an arable rotation.
3:35
So harvest taken off July, August time, drilled in behind there, um, and then kept in over winter, and then either a spring crop behind that or maybe back into grass.
3:46
Some, some people have been putting back into maybe a three-year short-term herbal ley.
3:50
But they can have a range of different species provided, sort of doing a range of different functions.
7:05
I mean, maybe actually just bouncing across to Alex for a bit there in terms of when you're putting together a mix, and I wanna talk a little bit more detail about seed mixes later, but on a, on a broad brush level right now, what, what are you thinking about when you're putting that, that mix together?
