How did you end up here in the States? Let's, let's start at the beginning, if you don't mind.

We were building boats in a small shed that me and my partner, Patrick, who was the co-founder of, uh, before b- before putting Vision Marine as the name on the company, was called Canadian Electric Boat, because we were Canadian.

And that small company was building boats since 1995, and Patrick and I were currency traders up to 2010.

He got a kid with his wife, I got a kid on my- with my wife, so both of them s- decided to sold the currency trading place that we had downtown Montreal, and we were home for two years taking care of our newborn.

They were the same age, with maybe 10 days different.

And, uh, we were racing boats and having a good time, and we bought a building with the tooling to build boats.

So we ended up, uh, owning the tooling of the fantail boats that we still sell and build today.

So, so where do, where do you want this to all go, man? Like, you know, where, where in the next 10, 20 years, what do, what do you see for yourself?

And what's your company doing in particular to celebrate Independence Day?

We are a pioneer in the EV space on the Boeing's world.

So we're actually electrifying boats and we're selling electric boats.

Some of them are sailboats, some of them are regular boats.

So we are actually a bit like Tesla on the water.

That's what we are.

Can you give me some examples of what people can expect out of one of your boats that maybe they're unaccustomed to as a result of electrifying the motorcraft?

We can actually electrify almost any boats between 20 to 30 feet.
