Where did you start when you...

Yeah, literally exactly the same.

I started with illustrations as well.

I sort of treated it like two phases almost.

And I think... um like I don't know what your creative process is like in general but like mine is chaotic and usually I try and hide that from my clients and I'll like take them from start to finish through the process but like I'm I'm not a client like all that mess and chaos is like in my head so I sort of did it in two phases where phase one was just like letting it be messy for a little bit and that was literally like two to three months but yeah from like February like onwards I spent months where I was just sort of toying with the idea of a rebrand but I hadn't properly committed to it yet and um that was honestly where I ended up drawing like most of my illustrations and the mascot as well the first thing I actually drew was the mascot um And because I just randomly got the idea one day like it needs to be a dove and drew it and then sat on it for a bit.

And then when I was like kind of happy with it, I took a photo of it on my laptop screen and posted it on my story on Instagram with zero context.

Like not even announcing like it's going to be a rebrand or anything, like mysteriously just posted a picture of it.

It's fun, but... uh what was i gonna say oh i ask my guests everything there everything hello what is wrong with my english i ask every guest that i do a podcast episode this and it's if you were in front of somebody who said this confession to you to your face what would be your response um i'll read the confession again it says am i the only one that struggles with branding myself i'm a designer so i know how to build a brand but it's hard to get right when i'm doing it for myself any advice What would you say if they were, like, right in front of you saying this to you, looking for your advice?
