Good morning, everybody.

It is so lovely to see you all here today.

As Dan and Kate said, my name is Alex and I am the curate here.

So as Dan said, I am training to be a vicar.

So a few years ago, my family and I, we were on holiday.

And when we were driving between where we were staying and the local town, we would drive past this.

Right

... you don't reach them.

The gratitude that you had when you were five years old, or you would've had when you were five years old, you lose it, right? And so that year was really big for my development.

It taught me a lot about being a head coach from a non X's and O's side.

How to delegate, how to manage a team, how to manage players better.

And then so when I took over the next year, I felt like I was way more prepared than I probably would've been going into that season.

And as somebody that is super, like, go-getter, a guy as a player that was, like, super aggressive and, like, I just went and got everything on my own, right? I just went and made myself into a player.
