How do you take the picture? Is it with a cell phone or a special camera or?

Alan TenneryGUEST
so it's a special camera it's mounted on a drone and it flies over the modules and takes the image and in typical el imaging you will inject power into the modules and i like to describe it as an led so like a A solar module is like an LED, but in the case of a solar module, it's taking the input from the sun, knocking electrons loose, and powering the grid.

Alan TenneryGUEST
When we inject power into it, it knocks loose photons in the shortwave infrared range, things that we can't see and most typical cameras can't pick up, or IR cameras.

Alan TenneryGUEST
and through that we can see this hidden damage that is typically goes undetected.

gotcha.

Alan TenneryGUEST
They identified something like 12% of modules were damaged to the point that needed replacement.
